Objective
DPharma means Diploma in Pharmacy. Diploma in Pharmacy is a first stage of pharmacy in India. D.Pharma was introduced in India to develop base of pharma field in India. Like Bachelor course of pharmacy, D.Pharm also involves all the subjects which are related with pharma field. Basically diploma is conducted on board level. PCI has established a unique syllabus for all the colleges in different states. It means that syllabus is same for diploma across the India.

Career
The person who has completed DPharma can be employed as pharmacist in shops selling medicine(Pharmacy). It has been made mandatory that at least one person employed in pharmacy must have qualified DPharma. After completion of DPharma, a student can go for degree (under graduate)course of BPharma .
